Beyonce has once again had the Internet in a chokehold when she kicked off her opening night for her Renaissance tour in Stockholm, Sweden. Renaissance was a 16-track album released in 2022 jam packed with dance electronic tunes with a multitude of genres such as funk, Afrobeats, disco and house. This Grammy-award-winning album got manifested into a 32-track setlist for the world tour that is slated to have a slew of performances till end-September this year. She is (quite literally) serving.

Queen Bey paraded custom looks from brands such as Loewe and Mugler. Makeup artist Rokael Lizama then paired these looks with soft glam that accentuates her ethereal vibe. This makeup look isn’t unfamiliar to the Bey Hives as she has been spotted donning a similar look for her show in Dubai.

Lizama has yet to spill the tea on what he used on Beyonce but he shared a quick pic of the look and we are all here for it.

Lizama takes us in to see the major highlight: the eyes. He gave Beyonce a slight graphic black and white eyeliner atop a light smokey glitter eye. He complemented it with lightly groomed brows, a matte base with a pinkish neutral matte lip that doesn’t steal the spotlight away from that liner action. The MUA/beauty mogul may not share his secrets yet, but here are some of my makeup favourites that will help you achieve the Bey look.

Natasha Denona Glam Eyeshadow Palette ($104, Sephora)

Natasha Denona’s eyeshadows aren’t pricey for no reason — they blend like a dream. Packed with mattes, shimmers and glitters, the Glam Eyeshadow Palette will have you go from everyday to full-on glam with a swipe across the lids. This all-encompassing palette is perfect for emulating Beyonce’s Renaissance energy.

KVD Beauty Super Pomade Vegan Eyeliner, Shadow + Brow Pigment in Graphite and White Out ($41 each, KVD Beauty)

The main star of the show: the graphic eyeliner. With it’s long-lasting waterproof formula, this liner doesn’t budge throughout the night. Simple flicks with an angled eyeliner brush will give you Lizama’s subtle liner artistry.

Rokael Beauty Auroras Strip Lashes ($19, Rokael Beauty)

Lizama topped off Beyonce’s lowkey eye look in Dubai with his very own Rokael Beauty lashes. It won’t come as a surprise if he used these dramatic wispies for the world tour. The Auroras faux mink strip lashes give you a dramatic cat eye that pairs well with any winged liner. It equips you with full volume which then tapers out to the outer V for a sultry look that’s attention-grabbing for evening makeovers.

To bring balance across the eyes, Lizama lightly groomed Beyonce’s brows with a quick fill of brow powder to fill in any empty spots. He then went with a brow gel to tidy up the brows while keeping it budge-proof for the entire setlist.

Hourglass Velvet Story Lip Cream Lipstick in Hint ($64, Sephora)

Beyonce is a notorious nude lip girlie. For the Renaissance world tour, she rocked a warmer nude lip that is similar to this Hourglass lippie in the shade Hint. The mousse-like consistency offers comfort to the lips while making them look plush. The applicator is also tapered for seamless application to the Cupid’s bow.

Huda Beauty Lip Contour 2.0 Lip Liner in Honey Beige ($32, Sephora)

To enhance the velvet matte lip shade, Beyonce’s lips are further chiseled out with a lip liner that is a tad darker. This Huda Beauty Lip Contour 2.0 Lip Liner glides onto the lips without compromising pigment.

Fenty Beauty Eaze Drop Blurring Skin Tint Foundation (32ml, $53, Sephora)

Many fans were gobsmacked at how natural-looking Beyonce’s skin was looking like for the world tour. Full coverage is a thing of the past and au naturel is in. Bey embraced her moles and went for a low-coverage routine for a natural slay.

IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Pores Pressed Silk Airbrush Poreless Finishing Powder ($50, Sephora)

No shimmer highlights and dewiness were in sight for the Renaissance look. Pretty understandable if you want the shimmery eyes to pop the most. Finish your look with a good finishing powder like this bad boy from IT Cosmetics that guarantees to keep that velvet skin on lock for the night.
